"Who’s that doing all that crazy stuff with the camcorder?"

My name is James and I am the one with all of the equipment, tripods, and lenses.  And before your wedding ceremony, you will see me squatting, getting on the floor, raising the camera high on a mono-pod and lots of other movements to get all of the shots that I will need to create the area's very best wedding movies.  My wife, Marianna, also films with me at some events and you will see her doing many of the same techniques that we have learned through our training and experience as professional wedding videographers.

When we started in the videography business we wanted to deliver so much more than just a video, we wanted to deliver memorable movies.  Most if not all wedding videos we had seen were very boring and most couples that had them weren’t proud to show it to their friends and family and really didn’t even want to watch the videos themselves.  

Also, we had sort of a tragedy in regards to our very own wedding video, which now resides in a box in the attic now.  How sad.

We knew that wedding videos could be better...

I knew that wedding videos didn’t have to be something you would never want to watch again and that a wedding video could not only be a treasured memory but could also be a movie that each and every couple was proud to show their friends and family.

Our pursuit to perfect our movies has driven us to never become complacent with where we are at with our shooting and editing skills.  My wife and I constantly discuss new ways that we can improve our film making skills so that we can deliver a precious, individualized, keepsake to each of our customers. 

We work hard at all of our events and it shows.  I have heard so many comments from guests as I am filming weddings.  Things like, “why are you hiding behind the plants”, “you hold that camcorder very differently, maybe I need to try that”, “are we going to be dizzy watching this video?"  Interesting questions and comments, but most often, It would take me so much time to try to explain why I cradle a camera and do a swaying motion for a shot.

About our family

My wife and I also have two boys that we love dearly, Matthew and Daniel.  It is so funny to see how individuals that are raised in a very similar fashion under the same roof can turn out so differently.  Daniel loves to play with his toys and be independent whereas Matthew loves his friends and could care less about toys. 

Both of them do love bowling though and Marianna and I have fun just going and watching them “slam” the balls down the lanes.  Marianna is currently studying accounting part time while also being a full time mom, bookkeeper for our business, videographer, and coming up with creative ideas for our films. 

I enjoy cars, computers, and also exercising.  If I had to say I had a hobby, though, it would honestly have to be making wedding films.  So much time and thought is dedicated to each one that I honestly don’t have time to dive in deep with other pursuits.

Marianna and I would consider it an honor to film and produce your wedding video.  We love interacting with all of our clients and by the time we finish editing each couples video we feel as if they are part of the family.  Since some of our films have taken  over 200 hours editing and more than 20 hours interacting with the couple between filming and discussing various important things to them, so you can imagine how easy it is to build a friendship with the couples and their families.  We look forward to that very same relationship with you.
