      We also want to give you a brief but more personal introduction to the people behind Absolute Productions and Media's awesome wedding videography. We enjoy getting to know each couple through the process of creating their wedding videos, and we thought it would be fun if you knew a little about us too.

JAMES AND MARIANNA PLAYER

      My name is James, and my wife's name is Marianna (pretty, isn't it?). We are the two "behind the curtain", overseeing and having a hand in every step of your wedding video from consultations to filming to editing to delivery. We make a great team, and you can count on us to give you the best wedding video in Greensboro, Georgia.

      Marianna and I got married before either of us had ever thought about having a wedding videography business, and we hired an amateur videographer for our wedding, trying to save on budget because we had hired an expensive photographer. Let's just say that if you pick the wrong videographer for your wedding day, you can't go back for a do-over. The day only happens once, but our video turned out so poorly, we have been regretting it (and in my wife's case, literally crying about it) for years since and years to come. The video of our beautiful wedding day was shaky, blurry, uninteresting, whispered from a distance through a tunnel during a tornado, and took literally YEARS for the videographer to hand over! (We see why he was holding it hostage, definitely not the best work in town.

      Disappointment led to conversations with other couples - we wanted to know if their wedding video was actually decent. Unfortunately, many of them had similar stories and experiences. Marianna and I felt the calling to wedding videography, and set about to get the skills to start a unique wedding video company offering videos couples would be thrilled with. We have grown a lot since we started filming in 2006. Our wedding movies, as they have come to be referred to, are like Blockbuster hits, starring the bride and groom, and were so wildly popular we had to create a second company to handle the business - Player Wedding Films. Absolute Productions and Media has continued offering the highest quality documentary, "as it happened", wedding videos available, so that couples of every budget can have a quality wedding video.

      As Wedding videographers we don't have a ton of time for extracurriculars. The work involved with videos is gargantuan!! Even though this is the case Marianna and I do have a variety of interests, and the time we do have, we value as precious spending with our family and friends. We have two beautiful boys, Matthew and Daniel, who are two years apart. They are absolutely a blast to be around, and of course we love them dearly. They are a lot different, personality-wise, but thankfully they love each other and tend to get along for the most part.
